Arts Etobicoke’s Seniors Movement Program brings a unique blend of movement, connection, and joy. Designed for seniors of all backgrounds, including those with disabilities or using mobility aids (walkers, canes, scooters, or wheelchairs), this program offers a gentle introduction to movement and dance. Classes begin with seated grounding stretches and breathing exercises to foster ease and mobility, followed by rhythmic dancing to classic, folk, jazz, and pop music. Skills covered include fall prevention, strength building, and creative movement, all in a supportive, community-oriented environment. No prior dance experience is required.
