• 10:30 am: Coin Collecting for KIDS *
  A workshop for the young collectors who want to learn more about what beginners can collect. Ever used a TTC subway or bus token? Learn about these and other transit tokens from Canada and the USA. Coin collecting is a FUN hobby, so join us and meet fellow collectors. Free to young collectors in attendance at the Coin Expo!

  A fun-filled auction for the younger numismatics. The numismatic auction is only for young collectors using school play money to buy REAL items! Reserve your spot today (recommended for kids 8+)

• 1:00pm: Coin Grading Workshop - Understanding Wear on Coins with François Rufiange *
  This presentation reviews all the grading levels in details using the Langlois’ Guide to Grading Canadian Coins. With the help of high-resolution pictures, we will study gradual coin wear going from mint state (new) to a very low grade (very worn). The presentation concludes with going over all major wear points for all Canadian monarchs. This most popular workshop is focused on the relative state/wear of a coin compared to another. Bring your loupes (5X and 10X)
