The Link Between Mental Health and Cognitive Function: Depression, Anxiety, and Brain Health w/ Dr. Shilpi Gupta

November 27 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Mental health and brain health are closely connected, and conditions like depression and anxiety can impact memory, focus, and overall cognitive function. This workshop will explore how stress and emotional well-being affect the aging brain, along with research-backed strategies to improve mood, reduce anxiety, and support long-term brain health. Participants will engage in practical exercises, including guided relaxation techniques, cognitive reframing activities, and mood-boosting habits that promote resilience. We’ll also discuss how to recognize signs of depression, seek support, and build a daily routine that strengthens both mental and cognitive well-being. By the end of this interactive session, seniors will have simple, actionable tools to maintain a healthy mind and improve their quality of life.

Available both online and in person.

Presented by Dr. Shilpi Gupta
