Join Etobicoke Master Gardeners for a free workshop and tour Exploring Trees & Shrubs at the Humber Arboretum. Learn about native trees and shrubs, their benefits to the environment and wildlife, how to identify popular species, and considerations for incorporating them into your garden.

The session will begin with an introduction and brief overview of the topics. Session will touch on native trees and shrubs as well as care considerations, and the benefits that various shrubs and trees can provide to local pollinators and wildlife. Afterwards, have a tour of the Humber Arboretum grounds and further explore the plants in the Humber Arboretum's garden collection.
