“Arts Etobicoke is pleased to present Emotional Kinetics, an exhibition by Robin Muccari, the second-place recipient of our 2024 Juried Art Show.

Emotional Kinetics

Expanding in growth and flowing in directions marked by coloured paths through space, Emotional Kinetics portrays dynamic motion in a frozen snapshot in time, expressing impulsive emotions in various dimensions using photographs and shapes. Depth in layers and distorted folds in form, each piece mirrors the energy of each piece. The artist illustrates his personal insecurity, social anxiety, and epilepsy experienced during childhood throughout adulthood. These collages are constructed and glued with clippings from books and magazines, colored paper, foam board, steel wire, and wood.

Artist bio:

Robin Muccari is an artist and designer in Toronto, Ontario. He holds a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and has pursued additional training at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Robin is originally from Pittsburgh, PA.”
