Three Unique Ways to Ignite Connection (Holiday Edition)

The holidays are all about connection—sharing stories, laughter, and love with family and friends. But sometimes, travel plans, changing health situations, or life’s little hiccups make it harder to be together in person.

The good news? Our smartphones can help bridge that gap! And we know that no amount of technology can replace that human in-person connection, but why not use the tools we have to ignite new exciting ways of touching someones heart (or start a new tradition).

With just a few taps, you can see smiling faces, hear familiar voices, or try something new. Here are three easy (and fun!) ways to keep those heartfelt connections strong this season.

Three Easy and Unique Ways To Ignite Connection:

  1. Send a Video Greeting Card

    • How: Click the Camera application button on your phone, flip the camera towards you by clicking the two circular arrows (‘selfie’ mode) and click the red button at the bottom of your screen to start recording! Send the video through your preferred messaging channel.

    • Why: It’s free (unlike letter stamps), easy and personal

2. Let Amazon Play Santa Claus

  • How: Download the Amazon application and sign in or create an account > Change the shipping address to your friend or loved one’s address and have Amazon ship them a unique gift to let them know you are thinking of them. P.S. our 12 Days of gifts Silver Bells Advent Calendar is starting on December 10th - if you want to register to receive unique gift ideas, register with your email on the link here

  • Why: Amazon has great deals, it’s easy, and your loved ones get a surprise, thoughtful gift at their doorstep - no need to gift wrap or worry about delivery (p.s. you can mark the purchase as a “gift” within the application)

3. Order Yourself a DIY Craft Kit for a Cozy Winter Night In

  • How: visit Craft Shoppe Canada and order an amazing DIY Kit (not sponsored). This is for the ones of us that want to ignite connection within! You can order yourself (or a friend) a crochet or a card-making kit, at a reasonable price.

  • Why: learn something new, get creative while cozying up at home, this holiday season.

We hope we’ve been able to inspire some ‘easy’ holiday connection ideas - let’s use this time to get creative, engaged and mostly have a lovely end to this year, no matter what your plan involve!

Bzzz,

Team Carebee
